Received 2h ago :

We’re pleased to announce the release of NVIDIA Parallel Nsight 1.0. Thanks to your efforts, Parallel Nsight 1.0 Standard is now available to all Microsoft Visual Studio developers free of charge, allowing developers to debug CUDA C/C++, or DirectCompute applications on the GPU using the same familiar tools and techniques as on the CPU.

[...]

NVIDIA is also providing access to a time-limited license for NVIDIA Parallel Nsight 1.0 Professional, Release Candidate 2. When activating the Standard Edition, you will automatically receive, at no cost, both a Parallel Nsight 1.0 Standard license, and a Parallel Nsight 1.0 Professional Release Candidate time-limited license.
The Professional edition includes features required to support professional GPU development, including advanced debugging and profiling features, such as data breakpoints and system-wide analysis tools that give developers the information required to achieve highest levels of GPGPU application performance.

PS: the pro version is also supposed to support OpenCL.

often times... there are other approaches which are kinda crappy until you put them in the context of parallel machines

Very nice. I hope they got rid of their very restrictive requirements for a very specific nVidia driver version.
This was the one showstopper that prevented me from installing and testing the beta versions.

unfortunally...no.
I'm on the download page : Parallel Nsight 1.0 requires the use of the 258.96 driver. Parallel Nsight supports Windows 7, Vista or HPC Server 2008.

But but but... the modified driver i installed (the only one supporting openCL that i could install on my laptop (official asus driver are very old)) are exactly the 258.96 \o/

So i'll try. I received my licence keys.

Edit : it worked. See : http://www.blog-gpgpu.com/  (my new (english) blog)
