z^2 3d Mandelbrot? Another stroke of sub-genius

   z^2 Mandelbulbs? I don't know why, but I don't recall them working this well in the past.... Perhaps it was the old formula..

  Snakehead Fountain (bigger version here):


  This is a quick "mistake" I just made...  I was moving the formula and it reset the "snakehead fountain" to 10 iterations.  Orbital coloring took from the last iteration (10) because it was set to take from iteration 11.  It cracked me up (thought I must have really cut and pasted badly):

or some other z^2, like this zoom of the top (looking down the z axis, I zoomed to one side a bit)
