what resolution do you need it ?!

I believe it was requested at 6,000 x 6,000.

 Hope that's it! afro

That is unquestionably a thing of beauty! Thanks for the upload, I just need it on transparent background rather than white. Other than that, c'est magnifique! And bib, thanks for the work, man.

Not an easy task, given the way the white fades slowly to blue in many places - determining the cut off point and edge quality is going to be up to each artist and will look subtly different depending upon who does it.

There is no way to get a sharp edge, so I gave it a soft edge and if it's not what you envisioned - you may need to cut it out yourself with any image editor at all  (they all should have tools to select by color!)

Here's my best effort:

I used a value of 20 for tolerance in rgb variations and a 1 pixel feathered edge.

Hope it works for you  Yes !!

I was thinking the fractal program would have an option to choose a transparent background, but what you've posted is quite fine enough. Thanks, everyone, it's gorgeous!

You can also try rendering this:

challenge {
fractal:
  title="challenge" width=800 height=600 layers=1
  credits="Matthew Schultz;5/17/2010;bib;5/7/2010"
layer:
  caption="Background" opacity=100 transparent=yes
mapping:
  center=0/0 magn=1
formula:
  maxiter=2500 filename="Standard.ufm" entry="Julia" p_seed=0.285/0
  p_power=2/0 p_bailout=450
inside:
  transfer=none
outside:
  density=16 transfer=cuberoot filename="Standard.ucl"
  entry="GenericGradientColoring"
gradient:
  linked=yes smooth=yes rotation=144 index=171 color=16777215 index=172
  color=16775653 index=219 color=16740877 index=240 color=10355456
  index=257 color=254 index=291 color=1891595 index=366 color=16777215
  index=367 color=16777215
opacity:
  smooth=yes rotation=144 index=171 opacity=0 index=172 opacity=255
  index=219 opacity=255 index=240 opacity=255 index=257 opacity=255
  index=291 opacity=255 index=366 opacity=255 index=367 opacity=0
}

A few more gradient points, with the opacity linked gives a pretty solid transparent rendering version.
