Is it possible that using negative-power one can see what is it inside a mandelbulb?
Or am I wrong?
I think I can see the negative-bulb like an inside-out  glove; if I'm wrong what is it exactly a negative-power of a mandelbulb?
Is it possible to have an inside.out mandelbulb?
Thanx

For example in this image you see negative power of a bulb

here is the positive-power of the same bulb

Hi, first of all for a plain Mandelbulb of the form z^p+c where p is negative then the current rendering methods are not really geared to producing correct images. Secondly, no the negative powers are not just the inside-out versions of the positive ones. To view the positive powers from the "inside" is a lot more tricky than viewing from the "outside" but not impossible - as some of Daniel White's renders have shown.
Also in the case you have given example renders for it would appear that your renders are actually Mandelbox/Mandelbulb mixes and they are a different beast altogether smiley

Thank you David.

Can I find a rendering of the internal part of a negative mandelbulb?
Is it possible to apply mandelbox's cubic folding on the surface of a negative mandelbulb (mandelbulb-box-mix like the one on the pictures).
Thanx in advance

One favourite of mine, the spine:

A negative-power Mandelbulb is certainly worth exploring (I know that negative-power Mandelbrot sets are very interesting, though certainly not inside-out versions of positive-power Mandelbrots). But if it's an inside-out view you want, just call a point "solid" if it's OUTSIDE the set instead of inside.
