The film "A Journey in The Mandelbrot set" represents a virtual flight over and dive into the traditional Mandelbrot set fractal. However, instead of just zooming in or out being anchored to a fixed point, it builds dynamic relations between shapes in the fractal and objects/events/ideas from our human life.

The original film is realized in HD 720p. A smaller version 640x360 is uploaded on YouTube:

The software for rendering the fractal frames and animating the flight using NURBS technology has been written from scratch by the author. Some third party software is used for image manipulation, morphing and packing the frames into a movie.

No software, hardware or mathematical formulae were harmed during the production of this film. Depicted fractal locations are virtual but not fictitious. Any resemblance to other areas of the Mandelbrot set fractal is completely and mathematically justifiable.
