Brian Tomlinson does coloured fluid art...squirts the fluid into water and photographs them in kaleidoscope view.(ie left is mirrored to right)

Remarkably similar to mandelbulbs, especially the one I gave a link to..(I have a very similar mandelbulb view that looks like that).
