Hello !

[Matplotlib]

Hi everyone ! I am new to this forum, and I hope I'll find interesting things and people (which I have no doubt about !).

Let me introduce myself : I am Matplotlib, a French sudent in advanced Mathematics, and I absolutely LOVE fractals. This branch of mathematics has something so fascinating !
I started understanting better the maths involved reading some documents (http://www.karlin.mff.cuni.cz/~prazak/doc/mandel.pdf or http://www.doc.ic.ac.uk/~jb/teaching/jmc/pi-in-mandelbrot.pdf for instance ; I especially enjoyed how pi decided to settle in the M set), and wanted to generate some images by myself (as you can find here : http://matplotlib.deviantart.com/gallery/). The thing is : now that I know how fractals work, I'd like to generate better images (I didn't manage to set up an advanced coloration method), as well as reducing the complexity of my algorithms (the polynomial roots image took around 10 hours to generate...).
