I'm not sure if this is selfish, but I spent all day yesterday in Ultra Fractal 5 making this great big animation only to find out that it's going to take 250 hours to render a 1 minute video at 24fps and 320x240. shocked

I'm wondering if anyone would like to contribute some CPU cycles.

Not sure if you can tell or not, but I just got interested in fractals a few days ago.

Thanks in advance to anyone who helps out.

What's it an animation of? Is it worth it?

Someday, man will understand primary theory; how every aspect of our universe has come about. Then we will describe all of physics, build a complete understanding of genetic engineering, catalog all planets, and find intelligent life. And then we'll just puzzle over fractals for eternity.

It's just a basic mandelbrot set I was exploring. It was only my second attempt at animating, so I'm not going to lie, it probably wasn't worth it.

Have you looked around on YouTube at other Mandelbrot set videos and animations??
Or maybe browse through some of the ones found at this site:
    http://www.fractal-animation.net/ufvp.html
It could give you some direction in what you are attempting to do.
