hi
i am pretty new to apophysis.  i am a professional 3d animator and am used to professional software.  i have been trying to figure out how to control animation with apophysis.  i am using 7x and rendering in flam4.  if i create one flame and render it seems to just do its own thing.  i am also finding it very hard to control the animation using keyframes.  i can't figure out which parameter/s are animating.  does anyone know whats going on or is it just luck of the draw using this software??

thanks

I have never used Apophysis, but hear development has stopped so any issues will likely go unresolved.

My best advice is to try JWildfire.  It handles flam4 files plus it's free and easy to see what is changing between keyframes by looking at the parameters.  Also, it is still in development and it's programmer is a member here.  That makes getting help very easy   cheesy

And there is Chaotica as well, if you are willing to go the commercial software route.  It, too, handles flam4 files, is still in development, and it's creator is also a member here.

Sorry I can't help with Apophysis - but I hope the other options may help.

Good luck with it, and Welcome to the forums   afro
