Found this today, I thought it might be interesting to share. In 1991 there was an outbreak of the so-called "tequila" virus. It had multiple forms but the first version contained the mandelbrot set. Its a shame that is was just an image and not an actual proces calculating the mandelbrot set. tongue stuck out

yes! look who working against fractals: the virus TEQUILA.
When I written some "complaints" at this site, I wanted to ensure that owner of "tequila" virus don't acces and don't make account on FRACTALFORUMS to sabotaging this site. Order in the court !! agree

I believe that owner of virus "Tequila" is an informatician whick was had bad grades at maths at school and at faculty, then he want to revenge on maths.
I hope that owner of virus "Tequila" to been forced to paid fines.

But it is not very likely that we will ever see him here. We probably won't need a reminder.



Btw, doesn't a informatician need know at least a little bit of maths to program something?  tease
