Comparison of different mesh extraction techniques - short survey.

Hi fractal forums folk,
I'm working on a project for uni that uses the GPU to generate meshes from fractal functions in real time. I've implemented two different isosurface extraction methods side by side and I'm evaluating the results now. I've already posted this very short survey to my social media but I'd like to also gain some feedback from the fractal enthusiast community if possible.

If you'd like to participate, pop over to http://russfractals.tumblr.com/ for two minutes. There are three pairs of images, each pair is identical except for the mesh extraction method used. Clicking through gets a hi-res version. For each pair, please let me know which image you preferred (and any reason why that you can articulate), or if you do not have a preference, in the comments here.
