Finally got my second roll of film back that was sent away to be developed in England. It takes ever so long for the mail boat to connect with some coastal tramp steamer, then island hopping until it reaches the main shipping lanes to Australia, then to be shipped from there across the Indian ocean, around the Cape Horn, and north to England, then plus the return trip. Shipping time and costs are some of the main problems for us down here in the antipodes. I cannot wait for the digital world to finally reach us.
