Very cool! My first thought was "is this something in the mandelbrot set or not?" With the accent on the glowing egdes you made a unique effect.

I don't know if it exists. Glowing edges might depend on some kind of weighted average, which would cause the effect to be bad in videos. Some tools in photoshop are not suitable for video. It may still exist. If there is a glowing edges effect for after effects, I don't know where to get it.

you get the glowing edges in premiere by
creating a copy of this layer in the background
setting black to transparent (chroma-keyer) in the foreground
 and applying a gaussian blur to the background .... i think
