The universe is like a brain

I like to think of everything having some probability, and your expectations shift that probability one way or another.
Some things such as suddenly popping up on the moon or moving the sun could still be considered impossible because no one will ever have the slightest expectation of it happening.

I just looked at Chills second image - Epoch 6 Patterns of matter and energy become saturated with intelligent processes. Like the genetic algorithm? Neural Networks? I think the universe had reached that final state without us and we are just catching up.

I start to think that the development of the consciousness of human beings is actually the universe waking up, becoming conscious of it self, being able to obsere itself, and start do develop no longer to the basic rules but through conscious decisions.

Sounds far out, and maybe is, but to me it somehow makes much more sense than many theories that only keep an eye on details..
And for me this somehow doesn't even contradict science or (the core of) religions..

The universe is always ceaselessly computing by an iterative algorithm, at all scales. The nearest I get to comprehending it is by meditating on trochoids, especially those where all the parameters can be manipulated or programmed to alter.
