Antialias isn't the greatest on this one -- sorry. Deepish minibrot rendered with multiwave coloring; interesting structures around it.

P.S. Could whoever it is who's been here a couple of weeks and really hates 2D images please quit giving them all poor ratings in the gallery? If a type of image, even if well-executed, isn't to your personal taste it doesn't deserve a poor rating because of that. It's bad enough that 3D images seem to too often hog all the attention, without the "classic" Mandelbrot and other similar fractals also getting dinged with artificially poor star-ratings into the bargain.

Very colorful, and reminds me of some Mandala Images I have seen before.     cheesy

Thanks. It's actually from an early test of the multiwave method, but I never got around to rendering it until recently. Now I have an older computer sitting around and I gave it a render queue of back-burnered fractals. smiley

It is always a good thing to go back and take a look at previous endeavors.  I have found some hidden "gems" amongst forgotten areas.     cheesy
