Been a while everyone!  I've finally started 3D printing fractals and I thought I'd show you all the first print!  I'll try to document this whole process of going from print to cast metal and finally a finished piece.

This project is still very much in its early stages, so there's plenty to come!  When things are a little further along, I'll be taking some better pictures so sorry about the poor quality of these XP.  I'll keep posting in this thread to update everyone on my progress.  Wish me luck!

I am curious.  What are you making this particular object for??

The finished pieces will be for my senior art show in May.  My university has a new 3D fabrication lab and I thought this was a good opportunity to really start using it.
