Hi everyone,
I’m fascinated by the crazy pictures we can make with Apophysis. I still don’t have created my own flames but there is lot of people sharing theirs on devianart. I have been more interested in animating those with scripting.
Here is my last video. It’s a compilation of short apophysis animations arranged in After Effect to create this sort of 3D rooms painted with fractals, and a boucing and accelerating camera passing through them. That an idea i had because i like scripting in After Effect as well.

The music is : Amygdala - Simstim

If you look at my youtube channel, you will see that I like when animation are synchronised with music. There is couple others videos with fractals if you like.

Any comment will be much appreciated.

Very nice work, and really original style especially with this video! I just went through all of yours on YouTube and liked them all. You may also be interested in trying out Thagor6's JWildfire, he has recently been adding some neat audio synchronization tools. I've also been very interested in using audio to manipulate flam3 files for a while as well and it's great to see more interest in that area with such amazing results. I've got some scripts that I enjoy. Unfortunately my rendering capabilities are limited now, so I've been stuck with only doing really low resolution tests. Here is a bit of code that still could use lots of polish, but contains some of my ideas that have built on others work before me

Keep up the great work, I look forward to seeing more, thanks!

Thanks for introducing me to Amygdala, their M.O. album is great! It's not often that I like psy this much, and you've made a cool video to go with it, great work  afro

Thanl you all 3 for your responses.

@blace
I’ve seen the video of JWildFire. It’s very cool although a bit shaky. I think it looks better when it is applied on 3D fractal that look realistic, because it gives the impression that there is a speaker right above transmitting its sound energy.
Actually the way i sync this to music is only by including the bpm value of the song in a script, which is very simple. I’ve download this music on Ektoplazm, and they provide the bpm of all the songs they release.
http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/amygdala-modus-operandi (Yeah ! This album is awesome)
It gives the impression that the fractal can distinct where are the beats in the music and make smooth movments between beats like a dancer would do.  Its more striking on this one. (I’ve placed the script on the Youtube video description)

I’ve also tried to make things with FFT or global sound energy but still don’t have interresting results.

Was wondering if all of the authors of those various images are aware that their creations have been used in this video??

They are now. Thanks for reminding me this courtesy rule.
Actually this is not images, but movies with evolving parameters that i have rendered myself with Apophysis. And this comes from just 3 different authors.
The flamepacks links are in the Youtube video description.
