Great image!

What is the max-iter value?

Impressive, love the detail shown by the colour palette!

To anyone viewing my posts and finding missing/broken links to a website called www.needanother.co.uk, I still own the domain but recently cancelled my server (saving £30/month) so even though the domain address exists, it points nowhere.  I hope to one day sort something out but for now - sorry!

The highest iteration pixels are about 1 600 000 iterations. I set max iterations at 20 000 000 because there's no minibrot anyway, so some overkill wouldn't hurt.

I tried to render it in my program, but it only showed noise. I need to make it possible to divide the resulting iteration values for each pixel in order to be able to render this kind of image...

You need to use a high gradient speed to render it like this.

You need to use a high gradient speed to render it like this.
Is that the same as dividing the iteration value for each pixel?
I then at least get something... smiley

If a gradient has a length of 256 colors, you could extend it to for example 1024 colors and (if you like) interpolate the extra colors. That makes renders smoother and fractal extreme calls it speed. I'm not sure how it handles this internally though. It also helps to use a simple gradient such as only black -> white but for this location that would not be enough.

If you round your divisions I imagine something similar to more gradient speed could happen as entire ranges of iteration values (500 - 600 for example) would get the same color. That's what higher gradient speed does, too.
