Awesome.

I started using Fractal eXtreme again a few weeks ago, after many years off (never really got into it before). I was close to putting it away again, but then I was inspired by your FX creations posted on this forum and decided to give it another go. I feel it's been fruitful, so hopefully I'll post some of my own not too long into the future.

Keep up the good work!

I really love this image. Looks like a row of # and @ symbols. Don't know where you find these, but I bet they require a great deal of patience.

How long did this image take to generate?

To anyone viewing my posts and finding missing/broken links to a website called www.needanother.co.uk, I still own the domain but recently cancelled my server (saving £30/month) so even though the domain address exists, it points nowhere.  I hope to one day sort something out but for now - sorry!

You can actually see exactly what I did if you insert the coordinates and magnification in any program that can render the mandelbrot set.
I don't know how long this took to render. I think it was about a day.

In the end I did copy and paste the coordinates and zoom level into FX, but I didn't want my poor laptop getting too hot so I had to abandon generating the image.

Can't believe how much patience one has to have for these images.

Use a small window to find an interesting spot. Start the rendering in a large window and let it run over night while you sleep wink
