OK, so I finally purchased this nifty Toshiba laptop (my first laptop!) for about $400, it does use Windows 8 but so far, that's all fine and dandy. I've only been using this new toy less than a week. The big worry is that whenever I try to use Mandelbulb 3D on it, I get a "High CPU usage" error message. I never see that otherwise. I have lots of Apps in here, but I haven't used any of them yet. And no, I am not a gamer.

The laptop is not online yet, I need an ethernet cable for that. There should not be any bugs since I'm only using it offline for now and any thumb drive items passed over from my desktop should be OK, just my own photos and images and such. Maybe there is a registry problem, I've read about that. Or some setting I could adjust? I'm not very computer savvy, and so I'm leery of touching anything at this point. But this is a good laptop, I shouldn't be having this problem... Please help, somebody advise !  cry

I conceived and developed a new geometry of nature and implemented its use in a number of diverse fields. It describes many of the irregular and fragmented patterns around us, and leads to full-fledged theories, by identifying a family of shapes I call fractals.
