Hello there, yes, it't been awhile, but I could not keep my fingers off these lovely fractals, so here is another animation. Which then went on to make 2nd place in the Animation/Video Competition at Revision 2013 Demoparty in Saarbrücken, Germany. You can download the high resolution 1080p 30fps H.264 file (773 MB, with a "insanely high bitrate", as an organizer noted - though it was just encoded with Handbrakes default settings smiley ) here: Download from Scene.org
http://www.youtube.com/v/z48t2R2hEJM&rel=1&fs=1&hd=1And again I have to thank everyone here in the forum. Hope You like it. Keep up the good work! Best Regards, Mic

Without sound, why, because in space there is no sound! We will play the sound later, but for now good job!Harsh of eyes of a critic are forced to admit you are an artist that won't quit, did your homework bit by bit, made it look passionately slick, and more, went to the mind-scapes, did your duty, due diligence on the frontiers of times revolving door, entered and upon the face of she who demands only excellence kissed her majesty and won her over, congratulations more over say we ! the Fractal Forums the possibilities are infinite .

Fantastic! I have collected a lot of demostuff in the 90ies and it is just great to see how alive the scene still is and how it evolved.

Hi there, thank you for your nice comments, much appreciated. The high resolution 1080p 30fps H.264 file is now available for download. It's a bit hefty 773 mb download though, but if you have one of these shiny 1080p TV sets or a projector, this is a nice way to see what the device is capable of. Download from Scene.orgCheers, Mic.

Really nice. How about making something for the little contest here? Are those fractal lights at 1:40? or just well placed individual lights?

I waited for the high quality file. I think even for those who don't have a very good monitor, it's worth to download the video this way. Very good video, many strange fractal landscapes Nice work

How about making something for the little contest here?
Well, I don't think I can get something decent thrown together in one months time, which is more than 5 minutes long and consists of new material (which both are rules for the contest IIRC). At best some kind of remix would be possible... That said, I need to take a break. I've been working on this animation constantly for the last 3 months during as much of my free time as possible, and still not everything i planned to do went into it - the usual running-out-of-time thing. Are those fractal lights at 1:40? or just well placed individual lights?
These are normal positional lights. Though placing them took some time. Cheers, Mic
