There's still something going on.

Coming soon, the deepest mandelbrot set zoom ever in full-HD.

Great news, but I don't think it is all about going deeper. The coloring scheme & algorithm is also very important. And the music ! And the way you synchronize beats & zooming..
However it is true that you can catch more interesting things as you zoom (cf. your very complicated picture).

Full-HD => 1080p ?

Cool! What will be the depth, number of frames, calc time, number of iterations...?

Indeed depth alone doesn't make for a nice zoom. I would use Pauldelbrot's coloring if I could use that in fractal extreme, but I can't, so I decided to make use of 2 gradients. In the first part of the zoom, the gradients alternate each other every so many iterations. In the second part those same gradients are mixed together smoothly. The zoom will be continuous so I don't think there's anything to synchronize beats with. In any case I will be using good music, if needed optimized for the length of the video.

This video will be both a crazy record attempt and a serious zoom video at the same time. I try to balance depth, interesting area and reasonable rendering.

Full-HD in this case: 1900×1200

depth: 2^3039
27351 frames
Calc time unknown but it has been rendering for a few months now (the 126 days is just this run).
Max iterations will be 1 400 000.

Sounds promising!
