Experienced Fractal eXtreme plugin crasher!

Hi guys

Running Fractal eXtreme it tells me that there is a new version available, but when you go to Bruce's website there's no mention of it anywhere.

You just have to go to the download area and download the version you need (64 bit or 32 bit) and this will install version 2.21 (even though nowhere does it mention this version number).

Hope that helps anyone else who has the same issue.

To anyone viewing my posts and finding missing/broken links to a website called www.needanother.co.uk, I still own the domain but recently cancelled my server (saving £30/month) so even though the domain address exists, it points nowhere.  I hope to one day sort something out but for now - sorry!

I've been regularly checking both cygnus-software.com and also randomascii.wordpress.com for any note on the new version.
I would bet its a bug fix, when you look at previous releases going from x.x0 to x.x1 is usually a bug fix.

Haven't found any new features, so you're probably right.

Shame there's no news on when a formula parser would be available as a plugin.  Imagine if it (even if it was a little slower than when zooming into the mandelbrot) were able to parse FractInt formulas (my world would almost be complete then).
