Embodied in the 'space-time' work
And synthesized precision
Of tetrahedral ceilings,
Octet truss support.
Brought to life from studied dream
By a woman of import.
Anne Griswold Tyng saw ways to bring
Together diverse form.
Ground breaking space-frame structures
A departure from the norm.

Am interested in the link between what fractals represent & can do, with architecture-livable, sensible (?) cities. Someone like Ms Tyng  may not be directly involved with the study of fractals, but perhaps represents one of the untold thousands of conduits that led into this burgeoning field. I don't know- was just impressed reading about her life and ideas & wanted to share it with the forum.
