An example of my early efforts at 3d fractals, using 2d images, extruded as objects in Bryce and incorporated into scenes. I hope you like them. I call this one "On Mandy Pond". (I decided somewhat arbitrarily that the traditional Mandelbrot shape should be called "Mandy". I hope nobody minds).

So, Xaos gave me the Mandy, and Bryce did the rest. Oh, on a Mac (I have both Mac and Windows, and since most of the latest 3d stuff works best on Windows that's where I do most of my 3d work now, but I generally prefer Mac. I can do Linux, too, but haven't done much there lately.
