Just floating around

« on: April 02, 2012, 12:25:25 AM »

I located of bunch of high quality videos from YouTube that didn't have sound, so I edited them into a collection and added my own music to them.  I listed the original videos in the video description on YouTube in case you wish to view those.  My goal was really to give justice to the original videos that would otherwise be forgotten.

This is an 11 minute trip through many fractals and a total of 4 musical tracks.

Now I can't do much about the quality since I first downloaded them from YouTube, edited them and re-uploaded the final video.  Lots of lossy compression going on here, however I think the results are pretty good considering.  Once exported from Vegas I had a 79 GB file that was compressed down to 800MB!

Software used:

Sony Vegas Pro 10 - editing/arrangement etc...
Handbrake - h.264 compression

I didn't want to list the soundtrack used because of YouTube's rules blah blah blah, but if you want I can list it here.

I for one enjoyed what you did here - good use of audio - can't believe others haven't commented but I know they are watching...
