This is pretty amazing. Can you tell me what formula you used to get this? I've been trying to get something like this, but haven't been successful so far.

Very nice video.

@G, looks like it's based on the infamous parameters originally found by Theli-at I think : -1 scale Amazing box with around 10 iterations, 0 Min R and around 0.95 Fold, followed by Folding Int Pow (can't remember which values) in Julia mode with X=2. Experts will confirm wink

EDIT: Maybe these params were found by HalTenny. In any case, he's done this wonderful tutorial: http://haltenny.deviantart.com/art/Mandelbulb-3D-Tutorial-2-192449982

Those were indeed parameters from Hal Tenny which I tweeked. The exact settings were lost unfortunately when I installed the newest version of mandelbulb. I increased the Z-end a lot so nothing was cut in the depth.
The rendering took about 2 weeks nonstop..

Great, Great video!  A few qustions?

1. What program did you use process that ton of pics, into a movie.
2. You must have used a dedicated HDD to store all those pics.
3. Was the original format .flc?

Great video!
Love those boiler-like fractal-forms.
Nice effect in the middle of the video. Flying through the bubbles looks like they're bursting cheesy
