hello every one, im a 22 year old college student, and ive been messing around with fractals since i was a little boy. ill post some pictures of a few of the flame fractals ive made, and id be more then willing to share some par files with you all. i take great pride in the fractals ive found so please go easy on me smiley

most of these pictures have been re-sized to be allowed onto the format of the forum. i am holding back my favorite fractals as to reduce there size would be a travesty.

Hello and Welcome!

Nice Images   afro

What program made the top one?  I like it.

The Gallery here may allow larger files,  Give it a try!

Attachments are mostly for parameter files, and not a good way to post images here.

Greetings, and Welcome to this particular Forum !!!    smiley

Since you are considered an adult by the age of 22, I probably will not "go easy on" you, especially if I feel like speaking my mind.  You should be old enough to take criticism.  Personally, I have seen way too many fractals to be impressed by these examples.  And as to your "great pride", here are but a few quotes:

Quote from: Voltaire
The infinitely little have a pride infinitely great.

Quote from: Benjamin Franklin
Pride breakfasted with plenty, dined with poverty, and supped with infamy.

Quote from: Fulton J. Sheen
Pride is an admission of weakness; it secretly fears all competition and dreads all rivals.

Hi Zanpranoth - welcome to the forum, nice fractals you have there - do you ever work with layers?

I do love it when nahee is blunt (nice quotes) - to me Paul you are, dare I say the "simon cowell" of fractals?  grin grin grin

Your bluntness nearly threw me off at the start but now I have come to value your opinions greatly and I hope that zapranoth will do to.

it must be nice not taking pride in anything, because then you never really have to try at anything you do. because hey who cares? you sure don't.

there is a difference between speaking your mind, and being a jerk for no reason. im sure the later of witch has earned you countless friends and endless relationships. good to meet you btw, i look forward to every conversation we may have.   smiley

basically with the flames, all i do is screw with the triangles and colors until it makes a picture i think looks really cool. i don't have anything i would call skill with apophysis.

What about in UF? It seems like the example you have here is one layer. Not that that's inherently bad, mind you, but if you restricted yourself to it you would miss out on so much!
