Hi,

I've very recently joined FractalForums by recommendation from one of my deviantArt friends MarkJayBee http://markjaybee.deviantart.com/.
I've used Apophysis and UltraFractal in the past, but recently was introduced to Mandelbulb3D and that was when I really fell in love with fractal art!
So far, I've created several 'decent' images with it, and have also started to create animations too.

Hopefully, I'm going to learn a lot from you guys here (I already have sooo many questions) and for now I'll just have a browse through the galleries etc. to get a feel for what can be done!

If you're interested, I've uploaded my first animations to YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/grungetv?feature=mhum It would be cool if people could take a look and offer any pointers/tips!

Cheers,

Jay.  smiley

Hello and Welcome!

Feel free to ask any questions you may have either in this thread, or in some other place where the topic of your question is being discussed.

There's an active group here, and most are happy to help out    cheesy

Welcome and very nice explorations/zooms you posted on Youtube, though the FOV is a little bit too high IMHO smiley

Thanks Bib. Yeah - I've got to keep a check on the FOV function! Getting a bit carried away with it at times!  wink

Yes, Jesse's Mandelbulb-3D program is a very good fractal rendering application.  The animation feature is what I believe everybody really has fun with.
