Hi to one and all.

I've just joined and would like to thank everyone involved for bringing these beautiful, scary monsters into the world.

My initial reason for joining was to report a bug in the latest version of Mandelbulber for 64bit Windows systems but, after a little poking around, I discovered that the bug was in my brain, a simple misunderstanding. Oh well, live and learn. I've been fascinated by fractals and fractal imagery since publication of James Gleicks's book, Chaos, back in '87/'88 and the first sight of a 3D Mandelbrot type fractal sent shivers down my spine- and they frequently still do. I'm not sure I've rendered anything worthy of inclusion in the gallery but I may post one or images two over the coming days and see how well they go down. Meanwhile, I'll fire up Mandelbulber and see what beautiful monsters I can find in its depth. Happy hunting everyone.

Hello and welcome   afro

I'm sure you'll find the gallery a pleasant place to post.

Many more people look at images than rate or comment on them, so be sure to specifically ask for feedback if you seek it.

I look forward to seeing your work   evil
