Hello people,

may I introduce myself. My name is Louis, I'm from Germany.
My interest in fractals goes back to the time, when I've spent days and nights with my Atari ST to calculate one single view of the Mandelbrot set in black and white!!! MiniBrot
It is amazing what has changed since that time and what opportunities current programs and fast computers have.

Now I'm looking for, how to convert 3D Fractals into printable Objects in an easy way .
I hope to get answers to some questions here.

Best Regards, Louis

Hi and welcome.

I'm not into the 3d stuff (you'll see if you look at my gallery images) but there are many on here who will give you valuable help and assistance.

Spend some time looking through the forums, there's a lot of information available.

To anyone viewing my posts and finding missing/broken links to a website called www.needanother.co.uk, I still own the domain but recently cancelled my server (saving £30/month) so even though the domain address exists, it points nowhere.  I hope to one day sort something out but for now - sorry!

Greetings, and a belated welcome to this particular forum !!!     cheesy

Were you able to find the information you seek??   Are you wishing to make actual 3-D object with a 3-D printer, or did you want to print 2-D images that look like 3-D objects??
