Hi everybody!

I just joined here and am looking forward to meeting other fractal artists
and learning new ideas and techniques in Apophysis and UltraFractal.

I'd also like to give meaningful input on others work as well as receive meaningful input on my work.

do you happen to know of any sites where fractal artists are dealing mainly in UF and Apophysis; exchanging parameters, tips etc
There was Woosie's FracFan forum but that no longer appears to be an active site.

Hi Erik, welcome !

As to the current activity here being mostly related to the rendering of the Mandelbulb and Mandelbox - that's basically "extra" activity over and above what normally occurs here
Feel free to post parameter files for sharing and/or peer review or help, with or without specific questions and I'm sure you'll get some responses.

As to places dedicated to parameter sharing etc. then the best places for that are the Apo and UF mailing lists:

The UF list is:

I'm not sure of the address for the Apo list as I'm not a member.

To subscribe to the UF list just send a mail to ultrafractal-subscribe@lists.fractalus.com (using the mail account you wish to use for UF list purposes). Currently the UF list is running at around 5 to 20 messages a day but sometimes there can be a lot more
