Hello, I am obviously new to this site.  I work mostly with Apophysis and Xaos (because they were free  grin).  But I've been looking for new programs to use, so if anyone has any suggestions...anyway.  I look forward to seeing your neat fractals.   I suppose I will leave with one of my trees from apophysis:

Thanks for the suggestions.  I will check some of those out.

I guess I should have asked as to what type of fractals you wished to explore.
And whether or not you wished to create 3-D objects and/or animations.

Some of the ones I listed will do those things quite well.  But there might be others more suited to what you are wanting to do.  With around 600 programs out there, it becomes a daunting task to keep up with them.    wink

Hello and Welcome!

It seems Mr. Nahee covered most of my favorite free Fractal Generators, but he missed one.

Mutatorkammer!

Get it at http://www.fractalmovies.com

It's a little quirky, but it makes some Amazing Stuff once you get the hang of it!

Have fun...
