Heya everyone!  C.K. here, from the east coast of the US (I'm in transit a lot right now) and happy to be on Fractal Forums.  I'm currently a student of both Fine Arts and Materials Science, so fractals came along sort of naturally.

I was first introduced to chaos theory by James Gleick's book "Chaos", which was a transforming experience to read.  I found the mathematics, philosophy, and images all very enticing and decided to pursue it further.  Since then I've taken a small course on fractals at my school and have started exploring 3D fractal design with the intention to eventually print them (many thanks to Don Whitaker for his tutorials).  My current project is to print 3D fractals and get them ready for casting in metal.

Other than that, I'm looking forward to meeting you all and talking/learning more about chaos and fractals!
