Hello to everybody

I've found this forum, because i'am searching a good reason to learn how to program a CUDA based graphics card.  In real, i'am a Storage-Specialist in a Swiss-Bank, working with big Disksubsystems and servers. In my Offtime, i'am programming Microcontroller and now i try to bring life to my NVIDIA Gforce GTX-280 Card.

On the other hand, i was playing around a lot with fractals on the old Amiga Computers in the 80's and 90's. But never with such amazing results, as i see here in this forum and on YouTube. So the fire for fractals is back...

Actually i'am making my first steps in the Fractal3D world with mandelbulber 0.30. But there are so many parameters to change that i think, i have to read a lot of threads in this forum, before the results are getting better.

Prepare to have a fun and time-consuming new hobby smiley.  I was interested in programming a fractal app, then found this forum, and have been spending increasingly more time here and working on my app!
