I'm from Alaska,it is only technically a part of the Americas much less the U.S.A..I am in the process of rebuilding my data base and have added a LEAP controller. Is there a possibility of developing an app that would allow me to create and fly with the LEAP? embarrass

Hi, I'm from Derby in England/UK.

I don't tend to do much, fractal-wise, as there're soooo many other things that interest me (mainly Sketchup).

I also don't tend to post anything anywhere (hence, this is my first on here, as I don't want to 'lose' the connection to something that's interested me for a long time). And this extra little ramble is probably in the wrong place.. cheesy

I'm from Russia, interested in the fractal structure of the Universe, was translating a book by our astrophysicists about it, see fractals everywhere as a process started by Big Bang  shocked

I'm from Massachusetts, USA  -New England smiley-
I'm 67 years old and have been an absolute fan of Fractals since I first read about them in a Sunday Newspaper feature in the 1960's (I believe).  Back then if you weren't involved in higher forms of math you had absolutely no exposure to Mandelbrot's world.
The first Fractal I created on my own computer took almost 18 hrs to render. I would set them up in the evening; go to bed; then work; then maybe get to see my creation. That
is if the program or computer didn't crash during the night. It was a challenge to be sure! But the results were worth it.

Yes, even we Americans sometimes lean away from the concrete, practical, lucrative pursuits ;-)

I live just outside of Philadelphia in Montgomery County.  I work at home doing grant research and consultations.  Right now we're gearing up for a wintry mix of snow and rain and its predicted that we'll get 4 inches of snow.

I have been playing around with fractals for a while now and I still finding it confusing at times  :smiley

Fractal programs that I have are Ultra Fractal and Xeno Dream.

You can view some of my renders here:
