I had a bit of a play with it, the params you posted didn't seem to work exactly as well as your pic (in Apo 7x), I had to tweak the weights and Julian Power to get a Mandelbulb type thing.

I attached both in a .flame file in case anyone wants to play with them.

Crotafang, I, I, I watched the animation, then something happened to my eyes ... I went to my doctor, but was not able to explain what I saw ... I told her "apophysis" and she said she has never heard of it being related to eyes ... so I showed her the animation ... and now we are both looking for another doctor.

Apophysis works for making sheep, so that mandelbulb can be uploaded and used as a screensaver (and improved by evolution, if people vote up.)

I think I've improved the Apophysis bulb.  This time, instead of using julian, I used julia3D.  I attached the image file for it.
