I know I know. As always I did not pay enough attention to the timing (it was probably too late and I wanted to launch the calculation before going to sleep). And I agree, the middle part of the animation is too long. I'll do my best for the next ones wink I have maybe 10 more animations sitting in the queue, and at an average of 10 to 15 days to calculate an animation, you'll have to be patient, and I'm sure all fractalists ARE patient, otherwise they do something else smileysmiley

Wow, the variety is awesome in this. Congrats! Colours are great too - it's very nice to see the gold highlighted coating on the outer parts.

One possible recommendation: Have the camera actually go in to the Bulb, in the zoom section, rather than simply 'enlarging the picture'. Trickier to set things up, but the potential parallax could be great.

Parallax zoom is something I have been trying to do for several days. I got some help from David Makin in another post, but I am still not satisfied with the results, especially since I still don't get exactly how the camera distance parameter work. I'll have to try harder. Anyway, in my numerous attemps, I have found some interesting perspective effects, like this one wich is a 2nd order Mbulb cut in half. With such an extreme perspective, my understanding is that the upper part of the image is in fact what is behind the observer shocked

so, how do you render those animations, with ultrafractal !?=?!?!?

if so, what formula do u use ?! the reb.xx files do not allow to increase iteration depth ....   huh? :smiley

I only use UF indeed, with Wip3D3 from MMFwip3D.ufm that is not in the database yet I think, plus inside coloring 3D coloring direct from mmf4.ucl.
