z^8 center bud:

z^8 mummy looking thing:

z^9 central bud shot:

other z^9 bud shot (maybe the same one?):

z^4 central bud location:

z^11 top location

There is a lot of variety between the various orders.  Different patterns, etc.  Different zoom locations give you different, although similar, patterns.

  Thanks Duncan.

The fractal type seems to lean towards a hard organic look, like hard baked earth.  I wonder if higher resolution+better color and lighting assignment would change that?
