<![CDATA[<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/dhmD-ijccFs&rel=1&fs=1&hd=1" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/dhmD-ijccFs&rel=1&fs=1&hd=1</a>]]>It's funny, I never really noticed the scale 2 box until recently, and when I did, I noticed that it had a load of tunnels going straight though it.
I decided to try and work out where the largest ones were (there seems to be an infinite number of smaller ones), and it turned out that there's a whole network of them, crossing at right angles, meaning a spline curve might have some trouble fitting tightly around them, which was what gave me the idea for this video.
What I didn't take into account was how many places in the scale 2 box have either orthogonal parallel lines or concentric circles, so aliasing ended up being a bit of a problem in places.
