Makin' Magic Fractals
WWW
« on: March 29, 2009, 04:11:15 AM »

Those of you wanting to know a little more about what happens during iteration may like to see my new blog page on "Orbits and Attractors":

http://www.fractalgallery.co.uk/orbits.html

I started it a while ago but finished it the other day since it nicely ties in with the release of the mmf5.ufm:Multi Bailout Formula for Ulltra Fractal that allows bailout based on periodic attraction in addition to the usual point attraction and ubiquitous infinite attraction.
It may help give some idea what "periodic attractors" are to those who don't already know smiley
I plan another page on how the nature of different orbits relates to the different ways of colouring fractals (using somewhat more artistic and less scientific examples).
