In Memory of the innocent victims on September 11th, 2001 at New York's World Trade Center.

I made this a few years ago, and worried folks would find it offensive, but I have received nothing but positive feedback on it wherever I showed it - so I hope nobody here is put off by it.

It does not put me off or offend me.  But if you had not given it a title, or the explanation to go along with the image, I probably would have just taken it as another fractal graphic.

Now that it does have a reference, I see this as a representation of the moment of collapse.  With lots of glass panes and shards falling along with the tower.  Of course I see the red portions as blood soaked and splattered debris.  But that is just my impression.
