Just didn't had any better name. But now resolution and quality of this buddhabrotesque video should be better.

cool! a Goldfish, I've been thinking about this kind of plot for Fragmentarium,  has anyone done this yet?
(in 3D? yes of course. In GLSL a la Fragmentarium?)

Not sure this is a "gold fish" as pointed out by another responder, but definitely appears to be some luminescent deep sea organism that is capable of morphing into various shapes.    cheesy

Hadn't noticed. If fragmentarium are able to use 3 floiting point (fixed) arrays then it's possible. Formulas are 2D but density plot often gives kind of feeling of being 3D

I've been looking at ker2x's buddhaGenerator, to be more specific the one on github by Emilio Del Tessandoro.
Can the RGB planes also be represented in 3d as XYZ ? Sure why not ? might resemble a height field rather than a real 3D plot but could be an interesting view.
I don't think I've seen a 3B fractal (buddha-brot-bulb)

ker2x posted a topic called:   THE Holy 3D Buddhabrot ! \o/

Also, a quick search under Google shows a few that claim to be "Images for 3d buddhabrot".

There alsou are old 4D thin a buddhagram. Its based on that z*z+c have 4 possible input variables. But then like everything 4D it don't fits in our 3D space.
