Just heard about this forum. Loox cool so far; hope to (finally) join some (real) discussions. The only other real fractal forum I know is the fractint mailing list (which is where I heard about this one).

Like fractal animations? Check out my site:

Including the deepest mandelbrot zooms ever done.

Hi Jack, welcome to the forums.  Like the look of those animations and am rather envious of the DVD!  If you use your imagination on domain names related to fractals and dvds you might bump into me! heh

Excellent movies, I did quite a few in Fractal Extreme a few years ago,

this one called Celestial Coccoon is 130.08 xooms into a M set...which =1.434e+039 which =1.434 thousand million..a big # :-)

it is 29mb .avi and took about 20 minutes render...

www.art.net/~starhawk/coccoon.avi

Hope you enjoying viewing..

BTW, I never did thank you for making a zoom into one of my posted FractInt .PAR files back around the middle of July:

I enjoyed seeing this very much and have archived it with a whole bunch of other items you have created.

Anybody wanting to see some really nice animations needs to check out this site.  Here is a recent addition to the collection, a version of Hal Lane's flaming comet from Hell, which was pretty cool:
