Tiera-zon had already been around a few years by the time I stumbled across it in late 2005, yet it remains a favourite.

I love the simple, elegant images it can generate; free of all the eye-bending, wiggly stuff we've all come to know and love - even crave.

Best of all though, are some of the colour palettes it comes up with; rich and harmonious, yet subtle and gently shaded.

This is one of my favourite images from that time, which reminded me of a spider.  I can never quite make up my mind which way up it should go...
