I'm very honoured to see my entry receive second place in the movie category.

Thank you late voters!  embarrass

I felt LhoghoNurbs's entry was the best pure video in terms of editing, original content and holding my attention so I'm glad to see that it won. cheesy

Regardless of the calculation method, congratulations to the winners and to everybody who took the time to participate.

It's funny to see that the pace of innovation is so high at the moment that the content of the Fun Fractal section almost seems obsolete : no Kaleidoscopic IFS, not a lot of Mandelbox, especially the latest ones by Pauldelbrot and Jesse could have been winners as well.

For next year's rule, I propose the calculating formula to rank images :

log(no votes*total no stars)/log(1/(no views)^no comments)+arctan(age*no posts/CPUs)

Then square it, put that into an iterative loop, add some c here and there, and draw a fractal chaotic diagram of the contest results cheesy

Like every fractal, the more you will look into details, the more it will seem complicated. Although there is a finite number of participants and entries, there will be an infinite number of winners smiley
