Greetings,

I have been involved with fractal imagery ever since finding out about fractals back in the mid/late 1980's.  I may not be a mathematician, but I do have college level math capabilities (one of my degrees was in Engineering).  Now I am mainly a software programmer and database designer, and have been doing that professionally since 1974.  Before then, I was a Technical Illustrator and Graphic Artist (which is the other one of my degrees).

I have been, and currently am, a "Beta Tester" for many fractal generators.  And quite a few of the major applications have implemented several of my ideas and suggestions over the years.

These days, when it concerns fractals, my main interest is passing on knowledge to the average individual (who usually has never been involved with fractals) and letting them know where they can acquire the basic software for producing formulas, images, objects, and anything else fractal related.

Use this LINK to see what all is new with me.

Hello, Paul !!

I should've known you'd already be in this group.  When it comes to fractals, there's not much going on that you aren't aware of.  Glad to see you're here to assist those that will need it.

First of all, I would like to say thank you to each of you for welcoming me to the group and saying hello.  I am glad to be here amongst so many familiar people that have the same interests in fractals.  Many of you I have had conversations with in the past, and it is nice to be able to "chat" with you again.

Secondly, I am sorry for not replying back quicker, but my job keeps me very busy at times.  There will be days when I do not have the time to even do a quick check on the group, but other days when I can spend many hours here.       smiley

I am looking forward to reading your discussions and re-visiting some of your websites.

Thank you both, not only for the welcome, but also for the comments.  Looking forward to both of your inputs into this new Forum.    smiley

I joined a few weeks ago, but have not had the time until now to do much exploring and reading.  And I decided to see whom are members, starting with the oldest entry and working up.

Nice to see you are here Paul.  And thanks for all that you do for the fractal community.     smiley

Sorry about the late reply, but I was way too busy during the month of June.  So you will see me here sometimes a lot, and then other times gone for quite a while.

And thank you for saying so, you are most welcome!!      cheesy

Yes, I have been here since the beginning, just was inactive for about a year and a half.  But have been back since the early part of this year.
And the universe is not big enough for two of me.     evil
