When rendering with movie maker 1.34 using DE, I get grid artifacts that do not show when using kf.exe (Claude's version) with logarithmic DE.
Screenshot of the problem is attached.
I'm rendering at 640X360 with zoom sequence saved at 3840X2160.

Any workaround? It actually looks interesting, but not what is intended.

There is a later version available
http://www.chillheimer.de/kallesfraktaler only has version 1.34 moviemaker for download, "[KeyFramesMovie64.zip - 54 kB]", which is what I used.

Where can I find the later version?

Thanks.

That's odd. I encountered the same issue as you showed, but I thought I was able to solve it. Apparently it's still there....

This is not a problem with the Movie Maker.  It has been diagnosed on the new forum as a problem with bReuseCenter and fractional Zoom Size near 1.0.  The zoom out sequence KFB files are messed up due to nearest neighbour interpolation artifacts.

See: https://fractalforums.org/kalles-fraktaler/15/kalles-fraktaler-2-plus-gmp/340/msg1915#msg1915

I propose to solve it solved in 2.12.4 (to be released sometime this week) by disabling bReuseCenter when Zoom Size is not an integer or perhaps by adding a GUI toggle to control this setting.
