Are there anything novel left to do with the old standard 2D Mandelbrot?
I think so!

I have made a series of movies, none of them are particularly long or deep, into dense areas with large spirals, and by using a simple and fine-tuning palette a new pattern is formed on top of the spirals:

Specially like the spirals created due to the palette wave interference in Odd flowers 3! The way they move really justify movies. But I always have this feeling lots of beauty is flying by much too fast .... there is just too much ... or our brains are just too small ... I dunno.
