well I don't know that work in other country as France, but in my country for sale a pict we must have a proper society as artist independant.

when a publisher want a pict he must paid your work and you give or not the totallity liberty to use it.
I work for different country and the price change if the customer is important or not.

The best it's to work with a artistic agent, of course he keep 40 to 50% but he have the best negociation and you win good money.

in indepedant the price varied to the format and for what picture is made (poster, gadget, gits, book cover...)

difficult to give a price, but a little help, don't sale your work to mobil phone customer
